Marton Demeter
Márton Demeter is a Full Research Professor and Head of the Department for Science Strategy at Ludovika University of Public Service, Hungary. His research focuses on global knowledge production, epistemic inequalities, and the geopolitics of academic publishing, with particular attention to emerging scientific powers. He serves on multiple international editorial boards and has actively promoted geographical and epistemic diversity in global academia. Currently, his work centers on the impact of generative artificial intelligence on scientific knowledge production and the transformation of China’s research and publication ecosystem within the global science system.
